AFCEA Monthly Luncheon – January 18, 2011

Ms. Carmela A. Keeney became the Technical Director for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) in December 2005.  SSC Pacific consists of 4300 civilian and military personnel and over 2000 contractor support personnel with a total obligating authority of more than $2.4 billion. Ms. Keeney has also been designated SPAWAR Deputy Chief Engineer Pacific under the Assistant Secretary of the Navy’s Competency Aligned Organization (CAO). As Technical Director, Ms. Keeney leads a diverse and highly technical organization in the research, development, fielding and support of advanced technologies for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Information Operations (IO).
