24 May Morning Session #5: Creating the Global Maritime Security Force

This session ends the Symposium by addressing how the Global Maritime Partnership Initiative (GMPI) can support the 2006 Naval Operations Concept in the areas of C4ISR.

Protecting the freedom of the seas and the integrity of international borders will require more capacity than any one nation can provide.

This means that the DoD, DHS, Coalition Partners, and their industrial associates must work together to develop the partnerships, protocols, and procedures that will permit nations with similar goals to cooperate for the common good.  Learn how our current and emerging C4ISR technologies can make the difference between mission success and failure as all interested nations increase their capacity to work together in supporting the Global Maritime Security Force.

Find out what technologies and capabilities that Global Maritime Partners will require in order to promote regional security and stability.
