Ed Weisbrod is a product manager with InnovaSystems International, a privately held software development company, headquartered in San Diego.

Ed joined InnovaSystems earlier this year upon retiring from the US Navy, having enjoyed 22 years of distinguished service. Ed was a Naval Aviator, flying both the H-2 and the SH-60B. He had numerous fleet deployments and has done tours in Rome, Italy and in Islamabad, Pakistan. As his last tour, Ed became the Lead Aviation Assessor and Certification Officer at Afloat Training Group, Pacific. It was out of this billet that CDR Weisbrod was plucked and given Individual Augmentee orders to report as the Deputy Commander of the Joint Detention Group, one of the three Groups which make up the Joint Task Force, GITMO, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Ed graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Management Information Systems, from the University of West Florida with an MBA, and from the Italian Joint Staff College/University of Milan with a Masters in International Relations.
