Pat is a Vice President for Business Development, Assistant Manager and Senior Systems Engineer for the Sonalysts San Diego Office. For more than 16 years he has provided Engineering Services support to SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego including C4ISR programs, Modeling and Simulation projects, Chemical and Biological Warfare programs and Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) projects.

He has over 15 years of modeling and simulation exercise experience involving planning, execution, training and analysis. He has supported the Navy’s simulation model, the Research Evaluation and Systems Analysis (RESA) as an instructor/controller for network simulations conducting more than 20 major command and control training exercises, most notable the annual ULCHI FOCUS LENS exercise series now known as Key Resolve.

He has over five years experience as a Requirements Engineer, and has three years experience in providing training services and management for the Joint Project Manager for Information Systems (JPMIS) as the deputy Logistics Lead.

Pat has been a member of AFCEA since 1992 and the Chairman of our Scholarship Program since 1993 when he re-established the San Diego Chapter’s scholarship program. Since then we have awarded scholarships to 56 students distributing more than $273,000 to promote the study of science, technology, engineering and math for college students from San Diego County.

In 2007 Pat assumed the position of Vice President for Education, a two-year assignment. In this position, Pat oversees the education outreach activities of four chairpersons who provide funds and encouragement to middle and high school students and teachers throughout San Diego County.
