Young AFCEANS

Networking and 360-degree professional development for San Diego Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association members under the age of 40. Serving the regional community with regard to leadership, professional development, and educational mentoring to increase awareness and interest in the professional sciences and civic service.

Just like their fellow San Diego AFCEA members, SanDi Young AFCEANS network with fellow professionals, and participate in the normal activities of the chapter. In addition, Young AFCEANS work to make a unique impact on the local community by:

• Mentoring at local schools

• Hosting technology events

• Judging Science Fairs

• Cross-pollinating with other San Diego professional organizations

In order to address YAFCEANS’ unique interests, the mentoring activities for San Diego Young AFCEAN members are generally tailored to career development, leadership development, and unparallelled *access to senior leaders*.
